Frequently Asked Questions

Wambolt is The Family Outdoor Company. It makes the Ready-To-Go (RTG) System, a unified modular storage system that merges your vehicle and your garage. Your gear lives at home, travels with you, and comes back without a repack. Getting outside should be a regular rhythm, not an ordeal.

Most storage solves one half of the problem. Garage systems stay in the garage, and roof boxes and hitch carriers only work on the road. The RTG System is one system for both. That means quick exits, reliable storage en route, and easy reorganization when you get back. No more transition time, no more forgotten gear, no more missed windows. Pack the night before, load in minutes, and take the last-minute opportunity when it shows up.

We built it for active families who get out often and own a lot of gear to do it. It works just as well for overlanders, beach and boat days, weekends with friends, and tradespeople who move tools between the shop and the truck. This system is also for sports families who’d rather keep the sweat-soaked gear out of the vehicle, or have a home base for weekend tournaments.

The RTG System will be the first available kit comprised of modular storage boxes, 2 medium and 4 small, and a hitch deck for the road.

The hitch deck mounts to a standard 2-inch receiver hitch. Customer to confirm hitch receiver size, clearance, tongue-weight rating and potential conflict with other vehicle accessories, including a spare tire.
